Capesterre-de-Marie-Galante

Villa with pool in Marie-Galante

An entire three-suite villa, a secure 26 × 13 ft infinity pool, and nothing but the Caribbean Sea on the horizon.

The villa’s infinity pool, facing the Caribbean Sea

On the hills above Capesterre-de-Marie-Galante, in Guadeloupe, Villa Coco Câline is rented as a whole, with its private, secure pool facing the sea. It sleeps up to 6 guests, is booked directly with its owners, and is about an hour by ferry from Pointe-à-Pitre.

This page gathers what you need to know about the pool, the villa around it and the rates, with the numbers.

The pool at sunset

An infinity pool facing the Caribbean Sea

The pool measures 26 × 13 ft (8 × 4 m). It is an infinity pool: from the water, its edge blends into the ocean, a 180° sea view with total privacy. Around it, over 1,300 sq ft of panoramic deck, with rolling sun loungers, an outdoor lounge, a table for eight and two outdoor showers.

At night the deck lights dim and the trade winds cool the air. Several guests even report spotting whales offshore from the deck: read their words on the Reviews page.

A private pool, all yours

The villa is never shared. You rent it with 3 bedrooms, for up to 6 guests, or with 2 bedrooms, for up to 4 guests: in that case one suite simply stays closed. The pool, the deck and the fenced quarter-acre tropical garden are yours for the whole stay.

With children

The pool has a safety alarm. It never replaces adult supervision: do not leave a child alone near the pool, and switch the alarm back on after every swim.

For the little ones, the villa provides a crib, a high chair and a baby bath. And for a change from the pool, Plage de la Feuillère, in Capesterre, has a lagoon sheltered by the coral reef.

Sun loungers

Around the pool, a 2,700 sq ft villa

Coco Câline is a contemporary timber-frame villa: 2,700 sq ft (250 m²), more than half of it open-air deck. Two glass walls, each over 16 ft wide, open the living area to the outdoors. The 3 suites, of 270, 240, and 240 sq ft, are air-conditioned, and each has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower, a mosquito net and a sea view.

On the practical side: a fully equipped kitchen with an island, Wi-Fi, a washer, a charcoal grill, private parking for 2 cars, bed linen and bath towels provided. Details are on The villa page, photos in the gallery.

How much does the villa cost?

A week costs €1,690 to €2,150 depending on the layout and the season: €1,690 to €1,950 with 2 bedrooms, €1,850 to €2,150 with 3 bedrooms. Stays start at 3 nights, each night at the weekly rate divided by seven (€241 to €307), and from 7 nights a 10% discount applies to the whole accommodation price. Add the end-of-stay cleaning fee (€160 with 2 bedrooms, €200 with 3 bedrooms) and the local tourist tax (€2 per adult per night). All prices are in euros.

You book direct: no platform fees, and the owners answer every request themselves. The calendar and an estimate for your stay are on the Rates and availability page.
